REGINALDO ROSSI AS ALMOST NEVER HEARD MY FIRST COMPACT

The singer and composer from Pernambuco Reginaldo Rossi is rightly recognized as a forerunner and master of pop-corny, and often is only remembered as such on the covers of his work. Two exceptions that fit the pop-MPB are less tacky "Exile" with the group Comadre Fulozinha (yes, including the quasi-compatriot Karina Buhr) and "Sunday Age" with Ze Ramalho (one of his best recordings in my opinion) . To these we can add a third, and perhaps more extreme: "Waiter" as interpreted by the present writer now in February, and apologizing to Alceu Valenca, the Blitz, RPM and Françoise Hardy, discover why: http://www

What's more - and, moreover, the voice of the master in person. In the 1960s, before labels like Sound Free K-Tel and promote unity among the Brazilian record companies, each one turned to cash in on the successes or current events (music festivals, film soundtracks) with re-recordings made by "bucks the house." A case was distinguished LP assembled by Chanticleer songs competing in the Festival da Record 1967, Reginaldo Rossi did very well performing "Sunday In The Park" by Gilberto Gil. Check it out:
